- Homeowners
expressed dissatisfaction with condition of entry flowers. Kratz will get new bid to plant seasonal
entry flowers.
- Some concern expressed about the
condition of the entry grass. Kratz will check on fertilization and proper
watering amount. Result: Googled “how much
water does Bermuda grass need?” after much reading a good rule of thumb is 1” per week.
If an irrigation system is properly installed you will get about 1” of
water per hour of watering. Must put a pan on grass while watering, then
measure to verify. Currently we are watering the the
grass areas betweent 30 to 60 min a week. We are
watering more heavily near the entrance and less on the outskirts. Lawn
was fertilized in May, Pre-M was applied in
March.
- Will
start Yard of the month next summer.
We will award 4 $25 checks or gift cards to a different winner each
month for 4 months.
- Homeowners
have mixed opinions on how many trees to replace in the entry this fall at
a cost of about $500 each. 7 trees are missing. Will plant 3 trees this
year, and more next year.
- Please
send letters to DR Horton asking them nicely to re-grade the creek. They
will only do it if more of us complain/ask. Send letters to: Connie 8506
