  • Homeowners expressed dissatisfaction with condition of entry flowers.  Kratz will get new bid to plant seasonal entry flowers.

  •  Some concern expressed about the condition of the entry grass. Kratz will check on fertilization and proper watering amount. Result: Googled “how much water does Bermuda grass need?”  after much reading a good rule of thumb is 1” per week. If an irrigation system is properly installed you will get about 1” of water per hour of watering. Must put a pan on grass while watering, then measure to verify. Currently we are watering the the grass areas betweent 30 to 60 min a week. We are watering more heavily near the entrance and less on the outskirts. Lawn was fertilized in May, Pre-M was applied in March.

  • Will start Yard of the month next summer.  We will award 4 $25 checks or gift cards to a different winner each month for 4 months.

  • Homeowners have mixed opinions on how many trees to replace in the entry this fall at a cost of about $500 each. 7 trees are missing. Will plant 3 trees this year, and more next year.

  • Please send letters to DR Horton asking them nicely to re-grade the creek. They will only do it if more of us complain/ask. Send letters to: Connie 8506 Victory

  • Get rid of Tree stakes laying on ground by trees - Jones

  • Get 3 sprinkler zones fixed Zone 2, 11,14 left side as you enter (ML Johnson Landscaping –Darrel Andrews) – Jones

  • No interest in a entry sign for announcements, monthly news letter will do.

  • Christy will add the following to Octobers news letter:

    • Time to attend city council meeting to push for new park by our neighborhood.
    • Reminder to send letters to DR Horton about re-grading the creek.
    • Neighborhood Halloween party next month?

  • Danny Standard volunteered to make a sign for the entry for our neighborhood garage sale.

  • 2 violation letters sent in September, one for a boat and one for yard maintenance, both violations were corrected.

  • Legal action is being taken against 7 homes for non payment of dues; one homeowner is being fined for consistent covenant violations.
