Champion Lakes HOA Board Meeting

Minutes

Meeting began at 7:03 pm

Board present: Bryon Santistevan, Mike Kratz, & Sherry Jones

President, Bryon Santistevan called the meeting to order and began by reviewing the current finances.

The HOA currently has an operating account of $9,163.66. Our money market account is at $10,037.10, bringing the total balance to $19200.76. May expenses included:

Coach & Cut $644.09

Excel $150.00

Utilities $168.62

Insurance $1,264.00

Admin. $130.11 (misc. copies)

Legal $632.00 (to be billed to homeowners)

Total $2,988.82

The income for May was $1,738.34, with outstanding dues of $9,163.66. More letters are to be mailed to unpaid homeowners in July before legal action is to be taken.

The board discussed the issue of boats in the neighborhood. These are not allowed in homeowner’s driveways and fines of $20.00 a day will be assessed to the homeowner everyday the boat remains.

The City of Rowlett is still under water restrictions. You may water your lawns twice weekly. These days are Tuesday and Friday before 10AM and after 6PM. You may wash cars in the driveway of your home with a controlled nozzle.

The idea of a neighborhood cookout was discussed. The board decided that they would have the cookout on August 7^th, 2007 which happens to coincide with National Night Out. Plans are being made to put this into action.
